We are glad to invite you to the webinar focusing on sustainable transport & mobility in cities and towns and presenting inspiring projects and initiatives in this area. This interesting webinar will take place on the 20th of October 2016, from 11:00-12:40 CET, and is organised within the Mayors in Action project supporting European cities in implementation of their Sustainable Energy Action Plans.
Road transport is one of the main sources of CO2 emissions in cities. Growing traffic density not only causes pollution and noise but also has negative impact on human health and road safety. Therefore there is a need for more efficient and environmentally friendly transport systems and transport solutions. There are already several good examples of European cities who are implementing well-thought measures aiming at optimising transport flows and at encouraging citizens to adopt more sustainable mobility patterns. Among them there are Gdynia (Poland) and Zagreb (Croatia), who will share their experience with the audience. Learn more by joining our webinar!
The webinar will be held in English. The participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and take part in the discussion. To participate in the event it is enough to have headphones or speakers.
